Whether we do the off site or onsite service, Actax needs the following documents to start the bookkeeping.

Bank Records

  • Bank statements and cancelled cheques/cheques stubs
  • Any credit card statements ( only if used for business purposes)
  • Deposit books and any other deposit slips
  • Moneris or any other credit statements if you accept credit cards for your sales
Invoices and Expenses

  • All invoices that you have paid
  • Cash receipts
  • Copy of outstanding and unpaid invoices
Sales and Revenue

  • Copies of sales invoices/ receipts
  • Do you owe money from customers? Please provide us the details
Government Related Documents

  • Business / GST /Payroll Account Number
  • Copy of your latest GST remittance
  • Copy of your latest GST Notice of Assessment
  • Copy of your latest Source Deduction (Payroll) Remittance
  • Copy of your latest Federal Notice of Assessment
  • Copy of your latest interim statement if you paid monthly instalment
If your office is in your home please provide the following documents as well.

  • Household expenses i.e. rent/mortgage interest utilities etc.
  • What is the percentage of space used for business?
